SHINRA He is only one survior of Tenkaku. He fought against Horai all by himself, but he was defeated. When his plane fell at the village of Ikaruga, he was saved by the old in the village. After that, he was handed one Hitekkai whose name was Ikaruga, challenging the fight against Horai again. Although his wish is to overthrow the domination of Horai and to take back freedom, he is something rash so that he doesn't desire to die with regrets. Eventually he released the restrain device of Ikaruga to use the released power, plunging into Ubusunagami-Oki-no-Kai with Kagari. At the same time his death was realized, but his existence has continued after his death because he was transformed into spirit being. KAGARI She was once a citizen of Horai and an assassin to kill Shinra. She was defeated by Shinra, and he helped her when her Butsutekkai was fallen to the ground. Immediately after when she was helped, her wish was killing herself because of her noble personality. However, as days go by, she recovered her presence of mind. At present she lives in a village of Ikaruga, because she want to see freedom that Shinra and the old have talked. She rebeled against Horai piloting Ginkei, the Hitekkai which was personal effects, with Shinra. When Shinra used all the released power of Ikaruga, she released all power of Ginkei as he did. Simultaneously she died, yet she was turned into spirit being as Shinra was. Her existence has been kept continuous. KAZAMORI He is the elder of the village of Ikaruga. He harbored Shinra and gave him a rest. He had the exellent ability to see the world widely and good judgment, which supported Sinra. He and Shinkai assisted Amanai to make Ikaruga the Hitekkai. He has believed when freedom will save human's life, and began fighting against Hourai. AMANAI He is the prominent planning engineer of Hitekkai who lives in the village of Ikaruga. At first when he came the village, he was almost the living dead because he lost a support to live, but he began making Ikaruga the Hitekkai by Kazamori's persuasion. The most part of planning and assembling were his work. He is not very obedient to those around him because he has a little distorted disposition which is characteristic of a technician, yet his nature is gentle in fact. SHINKAI He is dynamic, rough, but kind, so that he has worked as the headman of the village of Ikaruga. Although his personality is upright as well as his semblance is, sometimes his warm heart is turned into his weakness. He is a friendly senior for Sinra, so that he has mediated between Amanai and Shinra. He has some mechanical knowledge and assisted Amanai to make Ikaruga, the Hitekkai with Kazamori. Amanai seems to let Shinkai do only heavy labor, because Amanai dislikes careless work. HORAI TENRO She is the dominator of Horai. Her hair and skin are white as snow. Although her look is girlish, deep furrows lined her face. Nobody knows her real age. When she encountered The Stone-Like in a tunnel under the ground in Horai, she felt the strong remaining will with her PSI which she had by nature. She accepted the will as the revelation of God, but she could have understood the real intention of the will. As a result of sympathizing The Stone-Like, she was possessed by a surface mission and insanity. At last, she installed the restrain device on The Stone-Like to take the power of it. In final chapter she appeared cotrolling Tageri, the Butsutekkai, in front of Shinra and Kagari. IKARUGA It is the Hitekkai which was maked by Amanai, Kazamori, and Shinkai. Ikaruga is the first Hitekkai what has power of both Yin and Yan. It is hidden underground at the village of Ikaruga. When it should make a sally, "Fudo-Myo-O-no-Ken," the electronic transporting machine, forwards it to the sky over the village. GINKEI It is Kagari's Hitekkai which belonged to Horai before. The capacity is very good, but its cost was so high that only a few samples were maked. Kagari threatened a repair section of Horai and got this Hitekkai, because she valued Ginkei highly. The equipment has been remodeled into the same that of Ikaruga now. Hitekkai & Butsutekkai "Hitekkai" is an alias of small fighter plane. On the one hand, a common name of mIddle fighter plane is "Butsutekkai." Ubusunagami-Oki-no-Kai It is a mysterious object which was dug up under the ground in Horai. There is the strong remaining will in it. After when Horai Tenro felt the remaining will, she got the miraculous power and was possessed by a surface mission and insanity. As a consequence of her excessive action, she installed the restrain device on this obeject in order to take the power of it. It appered ahead of Shinra and Kagari with the restrain device installed on, but it had huge power in itself. Anoter name of this object is "The Stone-Like." |
